Scene I, The Zealot > Black Mist

from Dark Matters by Contemporary Dead Finnish Music Ensemble

/

about

Black Mist is about type of slavery. About how those who have the power in a religious organization or a fanatic group can easily use and abuse those who are blinded by the religious mist. It's amazing how a person who is deeply living by religious beliefs could become a totally different person of who he was before. The Mist can be black whether the Father is working in the name the God or the Devil.

lyrics

Watching the sky Eating a pie and lying On the grass
Hearing the joy Reaching my toy to join Through the glass
Growing up fast Closing my past at last Please let me pass!

No warning
The scorching Begins with hunt Go out to the front!

Come little closer
Move little closer, my friend Let me take over
It’s recommended, you know Watching you over!
Look all the wonders in here Think all the secrets you hear Overexposure!
Nothing to fear, be strong in your fate I have feeling it’s going to be great Winning you over!
Come little closer
Move little closer, my friend Overexposure!
They will forgive me
God will forgive me for this Watching you over!
Like it was done all before Like it is done only more Overexposure!

Black without blinking
Full open misty eyes, I am sinking Back without thinking, ho ho ho Easily got me where he wanted to go
Black without blinking
Bond over misty eyes, I am tied in Without knowing
Who threw away the key
I am trying so bad
I am crying so sad, help me
Brake away from this prison sell Make away from this living hell The shell build by Daddy

Black without blinking
Blocked from my misty eyes, not receiving Any healing
This is not what you said it would be
I am trying so bad
I am crying so sad, help me
Brake away from this prison sell
Make away from this living hell – living hell Brake away from this prison sell
Make away from this living hell
The shell build by Daddy

It is impossible to imagine what it’s feeling like
When you’re out with the other children playing hide and seek
Flying a kite
It is impossible to imagine what it’s feeling like
When you’re loved without exceptions and you’re whole, secure and watched for life
Since you’re born
It is impossible to imagine what it’s feeling like When you’re free - from the norm

Done with the preaching
Done with the praying, you are Scars from the teaching Beating will get you as far Overexposure!
This is the God’s High and Low This is the God’s will, I know Overexposure!

Black without blinking
Full open misty eyes, I am sinking
Back without thinking, ho ho ho
Easily got me where he wanted to go, oh no
Black without blinking
Dead blind misty eyes, I’m not seeing I’ve no feelings
Black Mist suffocative sea
I am trying so bad
I am crying so sad, help me
Brake away from this prison sell
Make away from this living hell – living hell Brake away from this prison sell
Make away from this living hell
The shell build by Daddy

It is impossible to imagine what it’s feeling like
When you’re out with the other children playing hide and seek
flying a kite
It is impossible to imagine what it’s feeling like
When you’re loved without exceptions and you’re whole, secure and
born free from the norm

about

Contemporary Dead Finnish Music Ensemble Helsinki, Finland

CDFME is a musical community with sole purpose to bring good music to the world.
The Ensemble was born in a year 2000 out of the need to bring back some of the more ambitious and progressive music that had to go literally underground in the 1980’s-90’s.
The music is intensive symphonic rock with lots of room for air, melodic and cinematic, progressive without being pompous in a needless manner.
